This aims to cover the needs of users who require specific connections in a dynamic and flexible way.<\/p>\n<p>There are three types of connections available:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Secure connection:<\/strong> Iumhnet<\/li>\n<li><strong>Secure connection:<\/strong> eduroam<\/li>\n<li><strong>Open connection:<\/strong> Iumhweb<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Iumhweb<\/strong> is an open wireless network specifically designed for UMH visitors who do not have institutional credentials (domain user or student PIN). Access is managed through a captive portal, which allows guests to easily validate themselves to enjoy a Wi-Fi connection on campus.<\/p>\n<p>Below we will see how to connect to the Wi-Fi network if you are a visitor, using the open network.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Detailed guide<\/strong><\/p>\n<ol>\n<li>Enter your device&#8217;s Wi-Fi network settings and connect to the &#8220;<strong>Iumhweb<\/strong>&#8221; network.<\/li>\n<li>You will now be redirected to the Universitas Miguel Hern\u00e1ndez captive portal. If after a few moments the screen does not appear on its own, open your usual web browser and load any page to force the prompt.<img loading=\"lazy\" class=\"alignnone size-thumbnail wp-image-2353 aligncenter\" src=\"https:\/\/tickb.umh.es\/files\/2026\/07\/Cautivo-1-150x150.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"150\" height=\"150\" \/><\/li>\n<li>At the bottom of the window, you must accept the terms of use by checking the box.<img loading=\"lazy\" class=\"size-full wp-image-2350 aligncenter\" src=\"https:\/\/tickb.umh.es\/files\/2026\/07\/Cautivo-2.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"291\" height=\"176\" \/><\/li>\n<li>If you do not have a password, select the option &#8220;<strong>Obtener una clave<\/strong>&#8221; (Obtain a password) to register as a visitor. Please note that <strong>the password is valid for 7 days. <\/strong>If you already have a prior access password, click on <strong>&#8220;Acceder&#8221; <\/strong>(Access) and skip to step 7 of this manual.<\/li>\n<li>Fill out the form indicating your mobile phone number so that an SMS with the password can be sent to you.<img loading=\"lazy\" class=\"size-medium wp-image-2347 aligncenter\" src=\"https:\/\/tickb.umh.es\/files\/2026\/07\/Cautivo-4-163x300.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"163\" height=\"300\" srcset=\"https:\/\/tickb.umh.es\/files\/2026\/07\/Cautivo-4-163x300.png 163w, https:\/\/tickb.umh.es\/files\/2026\/07\/Cautivo-4.png 282w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 163px) 100vw, 163px\" \/><\/li>\n<li>Once you receive the password, your <strong>Username<\/strong> will be your mobile number followed by &#8220;<strong>@umh.es<\/strong>&#8221; (example: <em>123456789@umh.es<\/em>).<\/li>\n<li>Enter your username and the password obtained in the captive portal to log in.<img loading=\"lazy\" class=\"size-medium wp-image-2344 aligncenter\" src=\"https:\/\/tickb.umh.es\/files\/2026\/07\/Cautivo-3-172x300.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"172\" height=\"300\" srcset=\"https:\/\/tickb.umh.es\/files\/2026\/07\/Cautivo-3-172x300.png 172w, https:\/\/tickb.umh.es\/files\/2026\/07\/Cautivo-3.png 292w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 172px) 100vw, 172px\" \/><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p><b data-path-to-node=\"8,0\" data-index-in-node=\"0\">Please note:<\/b> Remember that when using the open <strong>Iumhweb<\/strong> network, you will have to repeat this validation process every time you connect.
