How to log in to a printer of the centralized printing service

The intention of this entry is to give a quick idea of the uses of the new Konica Minolta equipment installed at the Miguel Hernández University.

Specifically, we will now focus on how to log in with our account on a printer of the centralized printing service.

Initially, the printer will have the screen off. To turn it on, simply touch it so that the machine “wakes up” and the following identification screen appears:

We press the “Username” field and enter our domain name (without @umh.es), then we do the same with the “Password” field.

For those who use special characters and do not find them on the first screen, they should press the “&123

And if more characters are needed, we press “#+=”.

Once the data is correctly entered, we press “Connect”.

Once validated, the following screen appears:

On this screen, our department will appear by default, as well as other departments to which we may belong, to charge printing jobs to other departments or services to which we also belong.

Once the option is validated, if we have pending print jobs, the system will take us to this screen to release them on the printer.

If we do not want to print at that moment, and what we want is to do other actions, such as scanning or copying, we press the button that has the shape of a “Printer” in the upper left corner of the screen.
