How to set up Wi-Fi access on iOS
To manually configure the connection, here are the steps to follow.
Detailed guide
Description of available Wi-Fi networks:
- Eduroam: Secure connection that allows you to connect to other institutions affiliated with this project without needing to change your device’s configuration. This network is especially useful for connecting to other universities or institutions in the program.
- Iumhnet: Secure connection with coverage exclusively on the UMH Wi-Fi network.
- Iumhweb: Open connection (no security) for use by those who do not have a domain username/password or student DNI/Pin and are visiting UMH. Using Iumhweb, you will need to repeat the validation process each time you connect.
Selecting the Wi-Fi network:
Open the “Settings” app
, then go to the “Wi-Fi” menu, and now select the network you want to connect to.

Validation:
Now, the credential validation window will appear, where we will enter our username and password. Then click “Access“.

Certificate Validation:
Once we have identified ourselves with our user credentials, the certificate validation screen will appear. Click “Trust” and you will be connected to the Wi-Fi network you have chosen, “iumhnet or eduroam”.

Which user should I use to configure the connection?
- Students: In the “Username” field, write your DNI number without the letter, followed by “@umh.es” (example: ) and the “Password” is your Pin.
- UMH Staff: In the “Username” field, write your full UMH email address (example: ) and the “Password” is your domain login password.
- Visitors: Visitors can also connect to the UMH Wi-Fi network by registering with a form. Just select the Iumhweb network and open a browser to automatically access the registration form.

| Note:
Reconfiguring the Wi-Fi network: If our device already has the Wi-Fi network configured and we are experiencing connection problems, we can try to delete the Wi-Fi network and reconnect it. To do this, in the “Wi-Fi” menu, on the network we want to disconnect, click the “i” symbol on the right to access the options. Once you access the options, select “Forget this network”. |
