How to make internal and external phone forwards

Cisco CP-7821 telephone terminals, like the one shown in the image, allow you to forward all incoming calls to either an internal or external number. This way, any call we receive will be forwarded to the phone number or extension we configure.

To activate the forward, we must press the button shown in the image (“DsvTodas“) and enter the number to which we want to forward.

After dialing the forward number, the terminal will display a new icon and the information of the number to which we are forwarding.

The procedure to remove the forward is the same as we followed to enable it. We will press the same button on the phone, which this time shows “NoDesvío“, and the phone will remove the previously configured forward.

 

Note

It should be noted that forwards to external numbers have a cost attributable to the line that activates them. That is, if we configure a forward to our mobile phone, each call we receive will be a call made by our extension to our mobile.
