How to Add Subscription of Our Academic Calendar to Google Calendar, iCloud, or Office 365

After obtaining the URL of our academic course calendar, we will add it to our personal calendar in Google Calendar, iCloud, and Microsoft Office 365.

Add Subscription to Google Calendar

  1. Access your Google account and click on the 9 dots at the top right, then on “Calendar”.
  2. Once inside “Calendar”, go to the gear icon at the top right next to “Week”, click on it, and then on “Settings”.
  3. Go to “Add calendar”/”From URL”, paste your URL, and then click on “Add calendar”.

Add Subscription to iCloud (for iOS and macOS)

  1. Do it from your Mac so that it appears on all your Apple devices.
  2. On your Mac, open the “Calendar” app and click on “File” / “New Calendar Subscription”.
  3. It will ask for the URL of the calendar you want to subscribe to, enter it and click on “Subscribe”.
  4. Assign it a name such as “UMH Calendar” and click on “OK”.

Add Subscription to Office 365

  1. Do it from your Microsoft account so that it appears in Microsoft Windows in your calendar when you log in.
  2. Access your MiUMH account and click on the 9 dots at the top left, then on “All apps”.
  3. Now click on “Calendar”.
  4. Click on “Add calendar”.
  5. In “Add calendar”, click on “Subscribe from web”.
  6. Finally, fill in the fields by pasting your URL, assigning it a name such as “UMH Calendar”, selecting “My calendars” in the “Add to” option, and finally clicking on “Import”.

Now you will have the calendar in your Microsoft account so that when you add it to your Windows user account, the calendar will appear.
