How to start Google Drive on Virtual Desktops

The Google Drive application is already installed on virtual desktops, but we need to log in with our UMH account for the drive to appear. To do this, we will follow these steps:

  1. First, search for the application using the magnifying glass next to the Windows icon at the bottom, by typing “drive”.
  2. Then, open the application and it will prompt us to log in.
  3. When clicking, it will open a browser where it will ask for the account (we will enter our @umh.es account) or it will show a list of accounts we have already logged in with; in that case, we will click on the @umh.es account.
  4. Once the account is entered, it will ask for confirmation and we will click on “Log in”.
  5. After this, it may ask for UMH username and password.
  6. Finally, after entering them, it will indicate that we have logged in. Shortly after, a message will appear in the bottom right indicating that it has been configured.
  7. We can check this by opening the explorer and in “This PC” we will see that the drive (G:) is configured, where we can view and work with Drive files as if it were another drive on our computer.
