If you need to create a non-personal institutional email account (e.g., for a department, workgroup, or project), you can do so through the CAU (User Support Center) at Miguel Hernández University. Below is a step-by-step guide:

Steps to submit the request

  1. Access the CAU portal
    Go to: https://cau.umh.es
  2. Create a new ticket
    Click on the “New ticket” option.
  3. Select the appropriate unit
    In the ticket creation form, choose the following options in order:

    • Unit: User Support Center
    • Category: ICT Requests
    • Subcategory: Request for non-personal email account
  4. Fill out the request form
    A form will appear where you must complete the following fields:

    • Desired email address
    • Account description
    • Account responsible person
    • Start and end dates
    • Delegated permissions (optional)

  5. Submit the request
    Once the form is completed, click “Submit”.

What happens next?

  • The CAU team will review and process your request.
