How to obtain Cype software for students, register for a license, and install the program on Windows systems

Detailed Guide

1. Log in:
   • Log in to umh.es by clicking on the person silhouette button in the top right corner.
   • Log in with your user/DNI and password.
2. Search for the download:
   • Once you have logged in, click on the magnifying glass in the top left corner.
   • In the search box, type “download” and click on the “Software Download” button that appears.
3. Access Cype:
   • Click on the link called “Cype”.
4. Register on the Cype website:
   • First, register on the Cype website by clicking on the link marked with a 1.
   • Fill out the form with the requested information and click the blue “Submit Data” button at the bottom of the screen. Important: in the email field, use your address with @alu.umh.es instead of @goumh.umh.es.
5. Download the software:
   • Click on the link marked with a 2 to proceed with the software download.
   • Scroll down to the section indicated in the following image and select the version of Cype that matches your operating system. To find out which version of Windows you are using, see point 6; if not, skip to point 7.
6. Identify the version of Windows:
   • Click on the bottom left bar of Windows where it says “Type here to search”, type “system” in it, and click on the “System” button that will appear under “Best match”.
   • Under “Device specifications”, to the right of “System type”, it will show whether the operating system version is 64 or 32 bits.

7. Install the software:
   • Once the download is complete, run the file and select the installation language.
   • Click on “Start download”.
   • Wait for the download to complete. This step may take more or less time depending on the quality of the internet connection you are using.
   • Once the download is complete, accept the terms of the License Agreement by clicking on the square indicated in the image and click on “Continue”.
   • Click on “Next”.
   • Select the option “Campus Version. Non-professional use” and click on “Finish”.
8. Complete the installation:
   • Once the installation is complete, run the Cype software and enter the access key that will be sent to your email after completing the registration process.
